This document is  the Privacy Policy  and Data Collection  Statement Policy for Bailey Consulting and Training P/L (“BCT”).

This privacy policy and data collection statement applies to personal information collected by Bailey Consulting and Training P/L in order for us to carry out our usual business, and provide our services to you. This statement applies when you visit this Site, purchase from the store, subscribe to any BCT email or newsletters or subscribe to any of BCT membership and consultancy programs.

Bailey Consulting and Training P/L is bound by the Commonwealth  Privacy Act 1988 including the, Information Privacy Principleswhich sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.  Bailey Consulting and Training P/L respects the privacy and integrity of any information that is provided by a user on this Site. We are committed to meeting our obligations and taking all reasonable steps to protect the privacy of the identifiable data collected from this Site and any other personal information collected.


Collection


Bailey Consulting and Training P/L usually collects personal information about individuals directly from those individuals or their authorised representatives. Individuals from specific organisations submit information through the BCT Benchmarking program according to their organisations policies and procedures We sometimes collect personal information from a third party or a publically available source, but only if the individual has consented to such collection or they would reasonably expect us to collect their personal information in this way. We only collect personal information for purposes which are directly related to functions and/or activities conducted by Bailey Consulting and Training P/L and only when it is necessary for or directly related to such purposes.

By voluntarily providing this information to us using this Site, including inputting data, sending us a comment or suggestion, or product review, you will be consenting to the collection and lawful use of your personal information by us for that online activity. You are under no obligation to provide us with this information when accessing our Site

There are many aspects of the Site which can be viewed without the user providing personal or sensitive information. However, for access to BCT membership and customer support features you are required to submit personally identifiable and/or sensitive information. This may include but not limited:

-    to assign a unique username and password

-    to provide sensitive information in the recovery of your lost password

-    sending information through the ‘contact us or help facility’

-    to enable us to respond to your questions or comments you forward to us

-    for processing your purchases 

-    to advise you of new product development

Information collected through the BCT benchmarking program including personal information as collected by you in the course of undertaking surveys, audits, assessments, submission of incident data, reviews, questionnaires or complaints management data is collected and submitted by you in accordance with your privacy policies.

For definitions,  as  referred  to in this privacy statement, 'personal and sensitive’  information' has the same meaning as defined by section 6 of the Privacy Act:

Identifiable data collected from this Site and any other personal/sensitive information collected. could be disclosed to:


-    your own organisation via the BCT benchmarking program and in accordance with our agreement with your organisation and your own privacy policy statements

-     following consent from the person

-    to any person with a lawful entitlement to obtain the information.

-    our own approved external contractors and suppliers


We may contract other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, information technology and business support, processing transactions or customer freight shipping. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. Bailey Consulting and Training P/L  takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.


Use


For each user we collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalised content to you while you are at this Site.

Bailey Consulting and Training P/L will take all reasonable steps to store your personal information securely. Personal information is de-identified or destroyed securely when no longer required.  Access to information stored within the Bailey Consulting and Training P/L systems can only be accessed by those with authority and computer password access. When the personal information that we collect is no longer required, we destroy or delete it in a secure manner.

Bailey Consulting and Training P/L is not responsible for the privacy practices nor the content of any linked websites.


Changes to this Privacy Policy and Data Collection Statement


Bailey Consulting and Training P/L reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time. Access

You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. Bailey Consulting and Training P/L reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per request basis. If you have objections to the Privacy Statement, you should not access or use this Site.
